It’s an exciting milestone in a farmers market season when all of the applications are received, reviewed, space planning completed, vendors notified, and lineup announced!
For 2018, we are glad to announce several new names and products for you to enjoy:Hudson Valley Seafood – “The best source for sustainable seafood in the Hudson Valley” www.hudsonvalleyseafood.com/
Sparrowbush Farm – freshly milled flours, whole grain breads, seasonal pasta, granola, turmeric & ginger
Strudel Z – “Strudel, baked with hand pulled dough and fruits and vegetables from Hudson Valley farms.”
Highland Farm – venison in many forms, boar, other game meat, raw pet food (see our vendor list for specific dates)
Pym Farm – local, grass-fed Red Devon beef and Berkshire pork
Atina Foods – traditionally prepared condiments: chutneys, pickles, pastes and gluten free and vegan snacks (see our website for specific dates)
Bash Bish Honey – locally produced raw honey
Billy’s Italian Market – “Gourmet, All Natural, Fresh, Local Italian Specialties” including prepared foods and sauces
In the rest of the list, you will find mostly returning vendors, many who’ve been with us since the years when we were by the baseball field in Hillsdale’s Hamlet Park — Hawk Dance, Honey Dog, Simple Soap, White Oak, Grannie Frannie, Markristo, Earthborn.
Others came on board once we moved to the Harvest Barn in the Roe Jan Park and have built a loyal following there. For some vendors, our market served as an “incubator”, allowing them to get their feet wet as market vendors then moving on — a role that we are proud to offer.
Opening Day is May 26th!!
